Migration and Politics: Contemporary Challenges in Greece and Hungary

The first KEDISA-ISDS workshop entitled "Migration and Politics: Contemporary Challenges in Greece and Hungary"   was held on 19th May 2021. The event was opened by the directors, Dr. Andreas Banoutsos and Dr. Péter Tálas who emphasized the importance and tools of prospective cooperation. The workshop focused on migration where two speakers, Dr. Panagiotis Sfaelos and Dr. Zoltán Egeresi overviewed Greece and Hungary's migration policies and current challenges. Dr. Sfaelos also pointed out the changes in EU migration policy as well, while his Hungarian counterpart portrayed the main characteristics of Hungarian immigration policy, with special emphasis the change in citizenship and naturalization policy during the last ten years.
